The Sun Being among the Twelve

The Sun Being among the Twelve

with Andrew Wolpert

Evening talk exploring Leonardo’s ‘The Last Supper’

Andrew will introduce the iconography within Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’ as a paradigm through which to explore the significance of Arthur and the Company of the Round Table.

In the lectures he gave after visiting Tintagel, Rudolf Steiner invites us to consider Arthur as a pre-Golgotha Priest-King whose preparation for the Incarnation leads to the Quest for the Holy Grail, and the task of Parzival.

Andrew Wolpert:

Andrew has been working with Renaissance art, Parzival, and Grail themes at Emerson, in Europe, and in Asia for many years.
