Post-graduate Anthroposophical Medical Training Week

Post-graduate Anthroposophical Medical Training Week

Join the Emerson Anthroposophic Medicine faculty for a week long post-graduated Anthroposophical medical training week hosted at Emerson College.

Join tutors Dr Michael Evans, Dr James Dyson, Prof David Martin, Dr Broder von Laue and Sibylle Eichstaedt as we explore a range of topics including:

  • Phosphorus – sulphur polarity: Prof David Martin will take us through another experiential journey into the life of the elements, starting with physical, chemical and biological manifestations up to the ‘gesture of the Being’ of the element.
  • Macro-elements: we will explore the macro-elements (carbohydrates, proteins, lipids) from the point of view of anthroposophic physiology.  Starting from biology and chemistry and building up an image of their workings within the four-fold human constitution of man.
  • Therapeutic speech: we will explore the elements of speech such as sound, rhythm, voice and breath and their therapeutic impact through speech/movement exercises and poetic texts.
  • Inner work: we will continue fine tuning our therapeutic qualities as doctors and therapists through deepening our understanding of our inner journey.
