Kirros retreats are an opportunity to recharge in beautiful surroundings, develop new skills as a coach and facilitator and (re)connect with colleagues in the business of resilience, wellbeing and personal development.
Retreat plan
Vegetarian supper & welcome (Wed 18:15) – in the Garden Dining Room, Pixton House
Group session 1 (Thurs am) – Insights from the group to support coaching practice – personal tips and problem-solving using the “fishbowl” technique
Lunch in the Garden Dining room, Pixton House
Group session 2 (Thurs pm) – SOMA Breath® work with Brook Avsar – a multi-sensory mindfulness practice with breathing exercises and music
Group session 3 – Storytelling Masterclass with Ashley Ramsden from the Emerson School of Storytelling to enhance your skills as a trainer and facilitator
Pizza supper followed by live music (Thurs) – around the Emerson wood burning pizza oven and/or the Emerson music room
Group session 4 (Fri am) – The application of behavioural science. Dr Matthew Critchlow and Michelle Smorfitt from Kirros will share insights from health psychology and research into habit formation to support your coaching practice
Lunch in Garden Dining Room, Pixton House
Group session 5 (Fri pm) – Nature immersion including forest-bathing with Dr Lana Jackson on the Emerson Campus
