Folk Ikons – Winter
Join us at SAOG Studios this Winter solstice-time, where, under the gentle guidance of artist/illustrator Vija Docherty, we will draw inspiration from various folk painting traditions and the qualities of advent/Christmas-time. We will create our own paintings using natural and locally gathered and prepared inks, pigments and egg tempera paints. The reverential way in which we will be working with our materials will lie at the heart of our creative endeavours …
