Exploring the spirit of trees

When did you last lie down under the shimmering shadows of a silver birch, or any tree, and gaze up through her constantly moving leaves, into the heavens.

Together we will re-discover, study draw and freely paint seven glorious trees, play with pentatonic lyres carved in their beautiful woods and make creative colour studies of the related planets, Sun Moon Mars Mercury Jupiter Venus Saturn.

As we sit open hearted beneath their welcoming boughs let us be inspired and listen to what their tree wisdom may unfold for us.

By inner observation combined with modern and traditional herbal knowledge, we will connect with their healing power and put it to practical medicinal use.
