A.R.T. Global Summer Immersion Week In Association with the Klinghardt Institute

A.R.T. Global Summer Immersion Week In Association with the Klinghardt Institute

Join us for this special 6 day immersion into A.R.T. led by Daniela Deiosso MSc and the A.R.T. Global Teaching team. You will deepen your understanding of A.R.T. and develop new skills while also taking time, working in smaller groups, for your own self-development and rejuvenation in a beautiful and restorative setting in the Sussex countryside in the UK.

Further details coming soon!

Who is it for?

This special A.R.T. Immersion week is designed for medical doctors, practitioners and students. You will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge, expand your skills, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals.

Requirements to join

You must have completed A.R.T. 1 to join (and preferably to have been practising!).

During the six days you will be practising in groups according to your current skill/training level with an A.R.T. 1 group, an A.R.T. 2 group and an advanced group for those that have passed their Foundation Level exam and have taken A.R.T. 3. If you have taken A.R.T. 3 but not yet taken the Foundation Level exam you will be in group 2 or 3 depending on your skill level.

Dates & Timings

We’ll be starting at 2pm on Saturday 30th August and finishing at 2pm on Thursday 4th September.

Food & Accommodation

Refreshments are included, accommodation and meals are not included.

These can be booked separately through Emerson College. You can book a full board package including accommodation and all meals, else a meal only package including lunch and dinner (a list of nearby off-site accommodation is also available below).

We recommend that everyone takes the option of meals at Emerson as there are very limited options close by for lunch.

Meals:

Ethical, sustainable living is central to everything they do at Emerson so their food is made from seasonal, locally sourced, organic produce wherever possible. Much is grown in their own biodynamic garden and green houses. All meals are vegetarian. Gluten free and vegan diets can be catered for with prior notice. Please note that they are not able to cater for allergies and food intolerances, but will provide a kitchen at no extra charge to prepare your own meals. Please talk to the events manager at Emerson (contact details below) and enquire.

All  meals need to be pre-booked which minimises food waste.

Rooms:

Accommodation is in single rooms with shared bathroom facilities (twin rooms are also available, see booking link below for options and prices). Bed linen and towels are provided. We recommend that you bring a torch as this is a rural campus and has little artificial light.

Accommodation and meals can be booked directly with Emerson via their website, the booking link will be added here soon.

Please book your place on the Retreat before booking accommodation as places are limited.

If you have any queries about booking accommodation and meals at Emerson College, please contact them directly:
